Sustainability and Social Responsibility

The Secretariat-General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (SGPCM) operates under ethical, social responsibility, and sustainability principles to ensure efficacy and transparency in public policy and contribute to the development and well-being of society, in line with national and international best practice.

The sustainable management of resources and social responsibility strategic goals allow the SGPCM to respond to present needs without compromising the future, boosting social conscience, innovation, and collective entrepreneurship. By abiding by these principles, the SGPCM seeks to assert itself as a role-model for other similar organisations in the State’s Central Administration or even to the remainder of Public Administration services.

Within this, the Social Responsibility Programme and the Sustainability Policy were set up, which include attitudes, behaviour and action that encompass the entire SGPCM, showing a strong commitment to the environment and climate action, as well as to citizenship, equality, and inclusion.
