Mission/Vision/Values
The Secretariat-General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (SGPCM) is a central service within the scope of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, endowed with administrative autonomy, and directly dependent on the Prime Minister or the government member to whom the Prime Minister delegates.
To ensure and coordinate assistance to the activities of the Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister and other members of Government integrated within the Secretariat-General and promote centralised services under the scope of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and government areas included.
To be the Centre of the Government’s Secretariat-General.
The SGPCM seeks to actively contribute to creating value in supporting decision-making within the Centre of the Government, operating on all areas, and fostering the development of technical assistance services for the inter-ministerial coordination of the various government departments, using best international practice.
In addition to the values contained in the Public Service Ethics Charter, the SGPCM highlights those that guide and shape the organisation’s culture and practice:
